Adobe works in multiple ways to support the open source community. We work directly with contributions to existing projects, like SQLite, and Eclipse. We work indirectly by supporting Adobe products on open source operating distributions, supporting Reader and Flash on Linux distributions. We do pure research on development and make those implementations open source, such as the work with the Adobe Source Libraries. And we are releasing substantial code and products to open source.
If you want to learn more about how OSMF is governed as an open source project, please review the Open Source Media Framework Governance Model.
For details on the Mozilla Public License, version 1.1 (MPL) that covers the OSMF source code, see License.
For descriptions of the Project Manager, Contributor, Partial-Committer and Committer roles used by OSMF, review Project Roles.
